Plaudit's Cat Man is a 1989 Bay  Leopard Stallion. He is  an exceptional athlete with a wonderful disposition which he passes on to his foals. Standing 14.3 he has produced champions in Halter, Hunter under Saddle, Hunter over Fences, and Sport horses. His gentle and quiet nature makes him a wonderful trail and lesson horse. His daughter, D.F. Lonesome Dove (see our home page)  appeared on the cover of the September 2006 Issue of the Appaloosa Journal.

With limited showing, Pete won a 2nd in Hunter Stallions in Hand (first place horse went on to be a World Top Ten), and a Reserve Championship in Beginner Hunter Over Fences, his first time out. His blood lines include such greats as Prince Plaudit, Mighty Bright  and Mighty Paul.

Reeces Remarkable Cavalier is a 2005 Chestnut Stallion with that wonderful "Look at me! " attitude.  Although he is very confident, the "little man" is extremely willing and easy to work with, and delights us every day with his intelligence and humorous personality.   He is by the bay overo stallion "La Vista Remarkables Remarkable" and out of the wonderful mare "Reeces Liberty Hawk" by 4 GS Little Kings Alfalfa Pleasure. With a pedigree like this, Reeces certainly has what  it takes to show in the ring today. The 32" stallion will be available for stud in 2009.

                     Blue Ridge Rising Star

                                             Welsh Section B

Blue Ridge Rising Star is a 2007 Section B Welsh Colt. We are introducing him so you can see our future star on the rise. Shown only once in 2008 as a weanling, he achieved a 4th  place in a really good class of weanlings and yearlings. He will make his debut this year in hunter pony breeding classes, as well as Welsh halter classes. His pedigree consists of such greats as Ardmore Traveller, Glannant Tango, and Cloe Olympian.

Standing 12.3 hands @ 9 months old, he is a flashy Chestnut with almost white mane and tail. His attitude is a 1 (calm)  and his gaits are strong and energetic. We are extremely pleased with everything about this colt.   Blue Ridge Rising Star will be open to mares in 2011.
